About Rising Eagle Stud
Rising Eagle Stud was established by Narelle in 2021 following many years of hands-on experience working with horses.
Originally developed as a boutique Quarter Horse breeding operation, the stud has since expanded to meet growing demand for Thoroughbred broodmare agistment and foaling services in the Hunter Valley region.
When Rising Eagle Stud was established, the property began as a heavily timbered block that required significant clearing and development.
Since then, the land has been progressively improved with new paddocks, upgraded fencing and purpose-built foaling facilities, creating a safe and well-managed environment for mares and foals.
Experience & Background
Narelle is a qualified Veterinary Nurse with extensive experience in animal welfare.
This background provides an additional level of knowledge and care when managing broodmares and foals, particularly during the breeding and foaling seasons.
Our Approach
Every horse that stays at Rising Eagle Stud becomes part of the family and receives personalised care tailored to their individual needs.
By maintaining manageable numbers of horses, we are able to provide attentive daily care, close observation and personalised management for each mare and foal throughout the breeding and foaling seasons.
The Development of Rising Eagle Stud
When Rising Eagle Stud was established, the property began as a heavily timbered block that required significant clearing and development.
Since then, the land has been progressively improved with paddock clearing, fencing upgrades and the development of purpose-built areas designed specifically for broodmares and foals.
These ongoing improvements reflect our long-term commitment to creating a safe, well-managed environment where mares and foals can thrive.
